Anjan SahaSelected for the artist rosters of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, SpicMacay and Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Anjan Saha’s music reflects the highest standard of Indian classical music today. He is a graded artist of Prasar Bharati. Anjan has performed extensively in India, US, Europe, and Qatar, and has presented numerous workshops as well. He is also a composer, and mesmerizes audiences with his unique works. Presently, Mr. Saha is music faculty at Rabindra Bharati University. He has been studying with Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, the doyen of Senia Maihar Gharana, since 2020. He also studied extensively with Pandit Debiprosad Chatterjee and Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar. Anjan received the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 1992 & 1998.

 

Phil ScarfPhil is pioneering performance of North Indian classical music on soprano saxophone, exquisitely capturing the subtlety and depth of this music on this Western instrument. Performances include India's prestigious Tansen Samaroh (Gwalior); Nehru Center, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and Dadar-Matunga Cultural Centre (Mumbai); Saptak School of Music (Ahmedabad); Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture (Kolkata); ICCR Theater and India Habitat Centre (Delhi); and JKK (Jaipur); and Pt Chatur Lal Festival (virtual). Phil is also a master jazz saxophonist and is featured on over 40 CDs/DVDs.
